Isabel was conceived at Melbourne Australia. The father of her was from Australia, and her mother is Swiss. Her family lived in Australia, Switzerland, Melbourne Jabiru (a small mining community in Northern Territory), Cairns Australia and in Jabiru, Switzerland. Along with her sister Nina Isabel, she attended schools in which First Nations and other children from different backgrounds were accepted. Isabel lives in the Byron Bay area of NSW Australia. Isabel started acting at the age of 12. She went on to study acting at The Victorian College of Arts Queensland University of Technology and more lately, she studied in the PEM method Perdekamp Emotional Method. Before 2002, she never had an audition. She was a part-time auditionee in Home and Away 1988. Producers felt that she wasn't suitable for this role. In the course of three years, Isabel was awarded the Logie Award as a new actor in the television industry for her performance. Isabel moved in 2008 to Los Angeles. Isabel completed her role in Sons of Summer and is in pre-production for the role of Marie Curie in Radiant with award-winning writerdirector Annika Glac. Isabel is passionate about animal rights, and has worked with a variety of environmental organizations. Since 2010, she's the PatronAmbassador of Melbourne's Human Rights and Arts Film Festival. Isabel known for her environmental commitments and commitment to ethical and social justice principles, has been the brand's face and spokesperson for a variety of fashion and cosmetic campaigns.
